The GKN Tractor Attachment System (TAS) business has manufacturing locations in Germany supplying complete systems to its global customers. GKN TAS recorded sales of £20m in 2006 and distributed over 300,000 lower link hooks to customers worldwide.
With its purchase of Cramer Kupplung GmbH in 2006, GKN TAS offers a full range of attachment and hitch solutions with CAT 1 to CAT 4 ratings dependent on applications.
The GKN Tractor Attachment System is a three-point attachment system comprising complete lower links with hooks, stabilisation elements, lift rods and top links - tailor-made for different fields of application and local conditions, for rear and front attachment. It permits efficient, one-man coupling and uncoupling, adjustment and stabilisation of attached implements from the driver's seat. The high loading capacity of all components in conjunction with automatic safety locking systems guarantees safe handling of even the heaviest implements.
